AB De Villiers also shared a video before the last match stating, “Turn off the lights and taps when not in use. We must ensure waste management and reduce the use of plastic. We should pick up plastic bottles wherever we go. All of these small little things if a person plays along can really go a long way to help our environment”. This shows that not only the authorities but also the players take this initiative as serious.

In the last match, RCB was seen in the green jersey against Chennai Super Kings (CSK). The captain, Virat Kohli, quoted during the toss,” It’s very special to RCB and we’ve had some memorable games in this jersey.” Now, let us go through the history of wins and losses in the green jersey of the RCB. RCB has played a total of 10 matches till now in the green jersey since 2011. It turns out that the green jersey of the RCB has been memorable for the players but not in favour of the match winnings.

RCB has lost 7 matches while playing in the green jersey. However, one of the most memorable matches for RCB while playing against Gujarat Lions in the green jersey was played in 2016, where both the most valuable players of RCB i.e. Virat Kohli, as well as AB de Villiers, scored a century.
