Noted classical singer Pandit Jasraj passed away at the age of 90 in America

The great classical singer Pandit Jasraj died on Monday morning due to a heart attack in America. Pandit Jasraj was in New Jersey since the lockdown due to the Coronavirus epidemic. He took his last breath on Monday morning. Durga Jasraj, daughter of ‘Panditji’, gave this information. Pandit Jasraj’s family said in a statement, “We have to inform with great sadness that Sangeet Martand Pandit Jasraj Ji died of a heart attack at 5.15 am this morning at his residence in New Jersey, USA. Gone.”

Bapuji Jai Ho ‘Pandit Jasraj, who celebrated his 90th birthday in January this year, gave his last presentation on Sankatmochan Hanuman Temple in Varanasi via Facebook Live on Hanuman Jayanti on April 9. He had mastery in Khayal singing and Thumri. He was awarded many honours in the field of music including Padmabhushan.
