The University Grants Commission (UGC) approved over 100 open online courses for the students who are pursuing graduate and postgraduate programs. Notification has been announced through the UGC India Twitter account. There are a total of 78 graduate and 46 postgraduate courses available at the SWAYAM platform.
According to the commission, the Consortium for Education Communication (CEC) will be offering 78 UG, 46 PG non-engineering MOOC’s in January semester on SWAYAM Platform- swayam.gov.in. The course wise-class and exam date are available at the website. Candidates can visit and check complete details regarding open online courses.
Who can apply:
The students from any universities or colleges will be allowed to register for the courses and avail of the credit transfer benefits from the courses. The courses are beneficial for all academic fraternity and working professionals.
Last year, six courses from SWAYAM were categories under class central’s 30 best online courses of 2019. The courses are academic writing, digital marketing, mathematical economics, python for data science, animation, and early childhood care and education (ECCE).
UGC has also launched specific online courses on SWAYAM Portal targeting academic fraternity, professionals, senior citizens, and homemaker. Courses are beneficial for the housewives too they can empower themselves by availing these course. In the time of financial crisis, these courses are made for providing a better source for earning. Anyone can learn high-demanded course as per their choice by sitting a comfort corner of home and also make money by doing work in their interested area or industry.
