Due to the Corona crisis, the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) has started giving priority to skill development programs run through a digital medium. As a result, the Media and Entertainment Council of NSDC (MESC) has an agreement with DigiVidyapeeth, an institution that imparts training to professionals through a digital medium. The University will develop online courses as per the needs of the industry, which will be accredited by MESC. Recently, an MOU (memorandum of understanding) was signed between Mohit Soni, CEO of MESC and Pradeep Khatri, Managing director of DigiVidyapeeth.
Initially, the DigiVidyapeeth will start several courses like Digital Media Marketing, Mobile Journalism. Such courses will play an important role in the skill development of existing professionals. Will also prepare them according to modern needs. Later, new courses will also be started in other areas.
On this occasion, Mohit Soni said that DigiVidyapeeth is capable of shaping the career of the youth according to future needs. The field of employment has brought out solutions to the challenges that will come in the careers of youth in future.
Pradeep Khatri, managing director of DigiVidyapeeth said that it is a matter of pride for him to work closely with MESC. This will motivate them to work harder to make programs like Skill Development Mission and Digital India Mission successful. The government has set a target of skill development of 12 lakh people every year under the 2022 skill development mission. At the same time, this area has also been affected due to the Corona crisis. Therefore, now the target will be achieved by giving momentum to skill development programs through a digital medium.
