The app is officially launched by Facebook which uses less data and storage-intensive only available. The Instagram Lite app will only be available to Android users, as the iOS version of the app is not yet available.
Instagram has launched the Instagram Lite app in 170 countries of the world. This has been revealed by Instagram’s parent company Facebook through one of its blog posts.
Instagram Lite is the official Instagram app that you eagerly awaited if you were looking for a smaller version of the original social network. With this app taking up less than a fraction of the amount of memory used by the original app, you can now use many features without using up all your memory – especially if you have an older smartphone with storage issues, or have limited internet access.
Facebook said in a statement, “Starting today, people in more than 170 countries will be able to download Instagram Lite for a high-quality Instagram experience in the Google Play Store, whether on any network or device. We will soon roll out the app globally. “
Using Instagram Lite you will find Instagram which will remind you of early days when its interface was clean and focused exclusively on your photos. For users, this means that you will not get any ‘DM’, no live streaming, and the ‘Explore’ feature in this Lite version is highly streamlined so that any tasks that take up too much space will be reduced.
However, its work has always been to upload images, and in Instagram Lite, the whole focus is on this. You can still upload photos and ‘Stories’ to your feed, as well as always enjoy your friends’ posts. There is also an option to upload ‘text’ and write on pictures of your stories, but there is no filter for your images. Facebook said that the new app requires only two MB to download on Android. Much less than the full-size version, which is closer to 30 MB. The company also said that it retains the key features that people using entry-level devices want.
