Asus Zenfone 7 Pro: Asus, the Taiwanese tech giant, has recently revealed the Pro model of the Zenfone 7 series. The new handset offers an improved version of its flip cameras. At the moment, Asus has launched only one variant of the android smartphone.
Asus has launched the phone in Taiwan. And for the moment, sales seem to be limited to the country. However, the manufacturer has plans to release it in the global market. As to when that would happen, we are not sure. But we assume it to hit the markets sometime this month.
Regarding the price, the Zenfone 7 Pro costs NT$ 27,990. When translated to INR, it is priced approximately at Rs. 71,000.
The Zenfone 7 Pro is available in two color variants- Radiant White, Yuyao Black. It stands at a 165.08 mm height, and its width is 77.28 mm. Furthermore, with a 9.6 mm thickness, the 230 grams weighing phone is quite large and chunky. A glass panel adorns the back of the handset, with the fingerprint sensor positioned at the phone’s side. The triple moduled camera is also featured in the back. However, due to the flip camera system, it acts as the front camera as well.
In a significant change from its predecessors, the Zenfone 7 Pro offers an AMOLED FHD+ (2400x1080p) display. Additionally, the 6.67-inch display comes with a 20:9 aspect ratio and a 90Hz refresh rate.
Asus has equipped it with the latest octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ SoC and the Adreno 650 GPU. Also, the smartphone is coupled with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. It supports up to 2TB of expandable MicroSD storage as well. Because of the Snapdragon 865+, it is capable of 5G connectivity. Other connectivity features include but are not limited to, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.1, USB Type-C port, etc. In regards to the battery, it’s at 5000 mAh with fast charging support of 30W. Unfortunately, the Zenfone 7 Pro does not support wireless charging.
As we’ve mentioned before, the latest handset comes with triple camera setup, including a 64 MP, a 12 MP, and an 8 MP sensor. The flip camera is exceptionally robust and flexible.
The Zenfone 9 Pro runs on Android 10 with ZenUI 7 on top. It features a triple functioning power button and a capacitive fingerprint sensor. However, the 3.5 mm headphone jack has been removed from the handset.
Here’s your first look at the phone.
