Bill Gates Resigns from Microsoft Board

 Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates has stepped down from Microsoft Board to devote his entire time in social work. He will be now engaged in the organisation which he started with his wife Melinda.

Gates served as the Microsoft Board of directors early in 2014 and has now stepped away entirely from the Microsoft work. 

Microsoft on Friday announced That Bill Gates on Friday has resigned from the Board of Directors to devote his time to social work in the foundation. 64-years old has worked hard to lead Microsoft to this stage and was involved in the day to day activities in the firm. 

Bill Gates served as the Chairman of Microsoft Boards till 2014 and has now resigned. Satya Nadella reported that- “It’s been a tremendous honour and privilege to work and learn with Bill over the past years”. He further added that- “Bill founded the company with the belief of monitoring software and enhancing the technology with the latest innovations and enrichment of data”. Nadella said that Bill will continue to benefit Microsoft with his guidance and advice in the field of software, and will remain as a technical supporter in Microsoft. 

Bill Gates left the CEO position in 2000, handing over the company to Steve Ballmer to devote his time to the foundation. He gave up the role of chairman at the same time Satya Nadella became the third CEO of Microsoft. 

Bill Gates Early Days and Establishment of Microsoft 

Bill Gates was a geeky good looking man when he invented Microsoft in 1975 with Paul Allen. Bill gas brought up in Seattle with two sisters. His father was an attorney and his mother Mary was a school teacher and chairwoman of United Way International. 

Bill learnt the programming skills at the age of 13 during his school days and he fell in love with machines and technology. 

Gates was a hard-working student in his early days, he used to indulge in  programming and get tickled with it and discovered new concepts. 

After his schooling, he was dropped out of Harvard to start Micro-spf with his friend Allen. 

He worked hard with his team to gain new heights in Microsoft. 

Now Microsoft is one of the world’s top software companies. Its reputation has achieved new heights all over the World. 

After the successful establishment of Microsoft, now Bill Gates is trying to move his focus from Microsoft and is now going to engage in the foundation which is established by Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
