Google launches battery operated security camera, know price and features

Tata Play has forayed into the home security Solutions segment. The company has launched Nest Cam (Battery) in India in partnership with Google. With this camera, users will be able to keep an eye on their home and office.

Google Nest Cam (Battery) will use Tata Play’s satellite based platform to provide better user experience. Tata Play has also introduced two security solutions Tata Play Secure and Tata Play Secure+ with camera.

Price and availability of Google Nest Cam
Google Nest Cam (Battery) has been introduced for Rs 11,999. It can be purchased from the website of Tata Play. This device has been introduced in a single snow color option. These security cameras of Google will work on the package that Tata Play will provide.

Nest Cam and year-long
Nest Aware subscription will be given free in Tata Play Secure + service. This package includes familiar face detection and up to 60 days of video history. In the first phase of launch, Tata Play subscribers will get this service in 10 cities. This includes Mumbai + Navi Mumbai, Thane, Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai, Bangalore, Kolkata, Delhi + NCR, Lucknow and Jaipur.

The Nest Aware service will be sold with the Nest Cam (battery). Its basic plan starts from Rs 3000. Whereas the year-long plan of the premium plan is Rs 5000. Talking about Tata Play Secure, it is an alternative home security solution. This service will be available to the subscribers from June 28.

Features of Google Nest Cam (Battery)
Google Nest Cam comes with advanced features such as Person/Animal/Vehicle alerts, on-device processing, two-way communication with built-in microphone and speaker. It comes with weather resistance and other features.

Battery powered option has been given in Nest Cam. With this, it can record even when there is a Wi- Fi or power outage. This security camera can record video footage in HD resolution. It has support for HDR and Night Vision.

Google Nest Cam (Battery) has a rechargeable battery, it can be installed outdoors or indoors. This security camera comes with LED indicator which alerts about the footage recorded.

It has 6x optical zoom and 2MP camera. For connectivity, WiFi and Bluetooth have been given in this security camera. It can be connected with both Android and i0S. It has an IP54 rating for water resistant.
