In a blast at Kolkata, 6 BJP workers injured

Six BJP workers were seriously injured in a bomb blast in West Bengal’s South 24 Parganas Friday night, two of which are said to be in critical condition. The BJP workers who were injured in this bombing have blamed the Trinamool Congress for the blast.

These BJP workers were returning from a wedding ceremony on Friday the bombs were hurled at them, in which they were seriously injured. The injured were admitted to a nearby hospital for treatment. The injured people told police inquiries that they were returning from a wedding ceremony when some people threw bombs at them.

The police have started investigating the matter. According to reports, the injured are still undergoing treatment. On the Gosaba assembly seat, Trinamool Congress candidate Jayanta Naskar denied the allegations, saying that BJP leader Varun Pramanik has tried to plant a bomb with the connivance of some miscreants.

The assembly elections are going to be held in West Bengal in 8 phases from 27th March. In such a situation, both the parties are trying to surround each other on every front. On several occasions, clashes between activists of both parties have been observed. Apart from this, efforts are being made to woo the people of West Bengal in every way. This time the BJP has entered the electoral fray very strongly in West Bengal. The BJP wants to capitalize on the success achieved in the Lok Sabha elections in Bengal in the assembly elections as well. However, the Election Commission has announced the election dates. Now it has to be seen which side the camel sits. The results of the West Bengal assembly elections will come on 2 May.
