IGNOU OPENMAT, B.Ed Exam 2019 registration date extended

The last date of submission of online application form for OPENMAT (MBA) XLVI and BEd entrance exam 2019 has extended till July 5. As per the official notification, the B.Ed entrance exam 2019 and IGNOU OPENMAT will be conducted on July 27, 2019.

The duration of the exam for IGNOU OPENMAT will be three hours from 2 pm to 5 pm. For B.Ed the exam will be held on the same date but from 10 am to 12 pm.

How to Apply?

Step 1: Visit the official website, ntaignou.ac.in

Step 2: Click on ‘application form for OPENMAT or B.Ed on the homepage

Step 3: The application form will be redirected to a new page

Step 4: ‘Apply’ under ‘new candidate registration’

Step 5: Fill details in a prescribed format, register

Step 6: Use registration id to log-in

Step 7: Fill the online form, and upload required images

Step 8: Make payment

Step 9: Download confirmation page, take a print out of it for future reference.

Important dates:

July 5: Last date to apply.

July 10: Release of admit cards.

July 27: Date of Examination

Application Fee:

Candidates will have to pay Rs 600 as application fee for both B.Ed entrance and OPENMAT

Details of IGNOU OPENMAT (MBA):

About:

The Management Programme (MP) has been designed to provide a developmental avenue for students, working personnel and professional for acquiring management qualifications. Also to focus on refining their management skills, capabilities and orientation. Admission shall be done on the basis of the online test conducted by NTA and the score obtained in the entrance exam.

The minimum duration of the programme is two years and the maximum is for five years.

Eligibility criteria:

• Any graduate (including Chartered Accountancy/Cost Accountancy/Company Secretaryship) with 50% marks can apply. For reserved category students as per government of India rules, it stands for 45%.
• No age bar
• CGPA should meet the eligibility percentage requirement
• Clearance of OPENMAT entrance test of IGNOU

Details of IGNOU B.Ed 2019:

About:

The Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) programme has been designed to develop the teaching-learning process not only on the upper primary and secondary level but also on senior-secondary level among student teachers.

The minimum duration of the programme is two years and the maximum is for five years.

Eligibility criteria:

• Bachelor’s Degree and/or in the Master’s Degree in Sciences/Social Sciences/Commerce/Humanity with minimum 50% marks.
• Bachelor’s in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with minimum 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent
• Completed an NCTE recognized teacher education programme
