IGNOU BEd Admission Process For The Session 2021-23 Has Been Started, Check Entrance Date Here

Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has begun the IGNOU BEd admission process for the January session 2021. Interested candidates can apply on or before the last date. The last date to apply for the IGNOU 2021 BEd is March 20, 2021.

As per the official notification, IGNOU BEd 2021 entrance exam will be conducted on April 11, arcos India at various exam centers. Interested candidates can visit the official website of IGNOU – ignou.ac.in to apply for BEd program.

The duration of IGNOU BEd program is 2 years and the medium of instruction will be in both English and Hindi.

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria for IGNOU BEd 2021 program before apply ing. Candidates must have at least 50% marks either in the undergraduate (UG) or postgraduate (PG) course in Science, Commerce, and Arts stream. Those candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can fill the application form for IGNOW BEd 2021. Those students who have completed a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with minimum of 55 % marks or any other qualification are also eligible for the same.

Candidates who are trained in-service teachers in elementary education or who have completed an NCTE recognized teacher education program through face-to-face mode can also apply for IGNOU BEd 2021 program.

There is reservation to candidates who belong to the reserved category. Relaxation of 5 % in the minimum percentage of marks will be provided to SC/ST/OBC/EWS/and PwD candidates. As per the university rules, reservation to Kashmiri migrants and war widow candidates will be required to provide.
