Hyundai Kona Electric Car: Hyundai is a brand which everyone believes and can depend on. The quality of what Hyundai provides to make people comfortable to use their vehicles. The next year that is on 2019, they are planning to launch the Kona. Hyundai Kona is an electric car. This car will be launched in India with a completely knocked down model.
The car will be an electric SUV. This is set for the global unveil and all these are according to the verdict of Y K Koo. Y K Koo is the Hyundai’s MD and CEO. The Kona will be the first vehicle to be launched in India by Hyundai.
People are expecting Kona EV with different battery options. So depending on the battery options, the car may have two models. The two models are one with a longer range and the other with a shorter range. The range for the Kona car which is having longer battery life is expected to be 390 Km. 390 Km is not a small range. So you may hope that it is giving a good distance.
The diesel and petrol avatars of the Hyundai Kona are available. But they will decide whether the Kona petrol or diesel will be India bound or not. It is based on an internal combustion engine and will be having a completely new platform. Moreover, the platform is also having the capability of electrification. To gain a huge profit in the market, expectations are that Hyundai will introduce petrol and diesel model of Kona in India.
If there is a conventional powertrain launch then it is expected to be fitting between Creta and Tucson. Creta belongs to one of the major success accomplished by Hyundai. However, it will be shorter than the Creta with a size of 105mm but the Kona will be wider than Creta by 20mm. It will have those specifications that it can compete with the Jeep Compass in India. However, all these depends if Hyundai decides to launch the Kona in India with a conventional powertrain.
You can easily expect these cars in the upcoming Auto Expo of the year 2018. Hyundai has never disheartened their customers. They have provided their customer with good service. So this time also they are expecting to give comfort to the people as they are wishing for.
