Wemade Starts Global Pre-registration of World Fishing Championship, the First Fishing Game on WEMIX PLAY

SEOUL, South Korea–(BUSINESS WIRE)–#Blockchaingame–Wemade started global pre-registration of World Fishing Championship, a new fishing game developed by Wemade Plus.

World Fishing Championship is the first fishing game on WEMIX PLAY, a blockchain game platform by Wemade. The game will officially launch in 170 countries (excluding Korea and China) on May 25th. Pre-registration is available on Google Play. For one month after the launch, all users including those that have pre-registered will receive special items, such as Fishing Gear Box and 10 Platinum Lucky Box Tickets.

Users can collect around 500 species of fish ranging from tropical to prehistoric by traveling around the world. Through character growth and improvement of skills, users can engage in strategic and exciting battles with various kinds of fish. A diverse range of contents, such as PvP and championship matches will also be available.

Fish collected in the aquarium can be viewed in various ways, by using a 360-degree camera, or through virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) technologies. Users can also observe the food chain that was created using AI technology.
