TUSTIN, Calif., Sept. 26, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ — The Karlin Law Firm has scheduled a press conference at 11:00 a.m., PDT, Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2022, when it plans to release court filings and a video filed in Gomez v. Fast Toys Inc., filed in the Los Angeles County Superior Court of California Case No. 21SMCV01305, that alleges a fraud being perpetrated against small business owners in the name of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) by a Miami, Florida, resident Andres Gomez – a serial plaintiff in more than 600 ADA website cases. The Supplemental Request for Judgment filed against Gomez in the case alleges that Gomez has been falsely claiming he needs special software to access websites. The special software he claims he needs was designed to help the blind access information on websites by reading out loud the information on the website.

The Karlin Law Firm has prevailed on behalf of 17 California companies, winning dismissals of 17 different lawsuits brought by Gomez. In addition to sharing documents and a video filed with the court, the firm anticipates having owners who have been victims of his lawsuits available for questions at Wednesday’s press conference.

In the Supplemental Request for Judgment filed with the court, the law firm is asking for a Judgment against Gomez, requiring him to reimburse its client, Fast Toys Club of Los Angeles $8,512 for court costs the club incurred in defending the case. Fast Toys Club puts its customers into high-powered race cars on premier California racecourses. In his lawsuit, Mr. Gomez alleged he wanted to use the club’s services, but claimed that the club’s website did not work well with the screen reading software he said he needed to use because of his blindness.
