Riskonnect Donates $30,000 to Local Charities for India COVID Relief

ATLANTA–()–Riskonnect, the leader in integrated risk management solutions, today announces it has made charitable donations to the Mangalore Rotary Club and GiveIndia.org. The contributions will support much needed COVID relief for the people of India during the intense outbreak.

Riskonnect’s direct donation of $25,000 to the Mangalore Rotary Club will finance the purchase of critical equipment for Mangalore’s Wenlock Hospital, including respiratory, blood oxygen, electrocardiogram, temperature, and non-invasive blood pressure monitors, infusion pumps, and syringe pumps. The Rotary Club is actively working with the hospital to expand the intensive care unit (ICU) facility by increasing the number of beds and necessary equipment.

Riskonnect has also set up a company-sponsored donation portal with GiveIndia.org to encourage its network to join the cause and support India’s COVID relief. Riskonnect has donated $5,000 to the fund to kick off the initiative.

“We’ve been deeply saddened by the COVID crisis in India and its impact on the country,” said Kevin Crow, Chief Human Resources Officer at Riskonnect. “Riskonnect is committed to doing our part in helping our colleagues and their families, friends, and communities by providing them with resources and support during this difficult time. We encourage those who are able to help us in this effort by donating to the important cause.”

As part of the ongoing relief effort, Riskonnect is also reimbursing India-based employees and their immediate family members who choose to receive the vaccine from a private facility.
