Rubina aspired to be an IAS Officer but just before the exam, she got a break for her television debut in “Choti Bahu”. After this, she never looked back. Rubina acted in several television dramas and recently acted in a short film. The short film was directed by Abhinav Shukla and entitled Bareilly Ki Beti: The Youngest Survivor.

She also participated in a dance show “Nach Le With Saroj Khan” and Big Boss Season 14. She won the latter one.
