Early Life and Career

Meek Mill was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, U.S. on May 6, 1987, to Kathy Williams. She has an elder sister, Nasheema Williams. Meek often took part in rap battles during his early teenage years. His father was killed when he was just five years old during an attempted robbery.

He with his mother and sister moved to North Philadelphia where the family lived in an apartment on Berks Street. The financial condition was poor and therefore the mother has to do other jobs and shoplifting.
