In 1996, he started rapping in a friend’s basements using turntables to record over instruments. His popularity took a turn after the successful, controversial underground single “How to Rob”, came under attention by many. Jackson wrote the album “How to Rob” in a half-hour car ride to a studio which comically describes how he would rob famous artists.
