Vi (Vodafone Idea) has announced that now their customers can book COVID-19 vaccine slots through the Vi app. Vi has integrated the CoWIN app with its platform to provide this facility to the customer. Vi users can now access features such as booking available vaccine slots and setting reminders when slots are available through the Vi app. Users can enter their age, vaccine name etc. on the Vi app to search for the vaccine slot.
Vi has announced that prepaid and postpaid customers can now book available vaccination slots through the Vi App on both Android and iOS platforms. The company has integrated VI App and CoWIN App to provide this facility to the customers. Vi customers can also easily search the available slots by entering their age group, dose, free/paid and vaccine name fields like Covishield, Covaxin, or Sputnik V etc. Once you get the slot, you can book your slot through Vi App only.
How to book a vaccine slot on Vi app
The network provider has simplified the way for its customers to get the vaccination slot, so that they can be saved from the dreaded pandemic like COVID-19. To book a vaccine slot from the Vi app on your smartphone, let’s know what you need to do….
– First of all, open the Vi app on your phone.
-After this, you have to click on the Get Yourself Vaccinated Today option, which you will find at the bottom of the screen.
-Now users will have to enter their location to search the slot, in which you have to enter your district, state and Pincode information.
-Now users have to enter their age group like 18-44/ age 45+ to search the slot. Then which dose you are searching for first or second, which vaccine you want Covishield/ Covaxin/ Sputnik V and you can apply filters like free or paid. After which they will get information about the available vaccination slots.
-After applying all the filters, you have to select the date on which you want to take the vaccination.
-The Vi app will then redirect you to the Cowin portal for final confirmation.
