UberEATS was launched in Delhi: Here’s how it works

Uber has launched its UberEATS food delivery service in Delhi, said in a press statement. The company now partnered with over 200 in South Delhi and you can order your favourite food from restaurants like Pita Pit, Barista, Dimcha and Moti Mahal, According to the UberEATS. The UberEATS is different from the Uber App, it is for food delivery service.

Starting this year, Uber has launched the UberEATS in Mumbai, India and extended the food delivery service to Gurugram in June Month. The company will begin the UberEATS in Delhi following the South Extension, Nehru Place, East of Kailash, Defence Colony, GK I and II, Gulmohar Park, Green Park, Malviya Nagar, Kalkaji, Hauz Khas, Safdarjung, Asiad Village, Saket and Mehrauli places.

Uber launched the UberEATS service in Los Angeles as a small delivery pilot back in 2014. The company launched its separate app in December 2015 in Toronto. Now the UberEATS food delivery service expanded over 45,000 restaurants globally in 27 countries, including India. In the Indian market, the Uber attempt to compete with Swiggy, FoodPanda and Zomato into the food delivery service market.

A general manager of the UberEATS Delhi, Faiz Abdulla said that they received an extensive feedback in Gurugram and expected the same response from South Delhi. UberEATS is offering Delhiites an easy way to order local delicacies reliable and quick delivery food delivery service.

The UberEATS supports Android and iOS devices and you can download it from Google Play Store and iTunes respectively. The UberEATS offers an effortless way to order food, you can search the local restaurants or by cuisine type and enter the address or select location where you want the food to be delivered. There is also a sort menu option according to price. You can pay via PayTM and also get your order update status in real time.
