Back in June Month, YotaPhone 3 was introduced in Harbin at the China-Russia exhibition and a few days ago, the price of the phone was rumored. But the company has not revealed the specifications and features details of the YotaPhone 3 smartphone yet.
Now the company launched the smartphone officially, it’s a successor YotaFhone 2 which was launched in 2014.
In the Chinese and Asian markets, the YotaFhone 3 is also known as a YOTA3 smartphone. It comes with 5.5-inch AMOLED display with 1920 x 1080 pixels of resolution. On the back side, there is a secondary e-ink 5.2-inch display with 720 x 1280 pixels of resolution.
YotaPhone 3 is powered by Octa-Core Cortex-A53 CPU under the hood which clocks at 2.0 GHz along with Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset and Adreno 506 GPU.
It comes with 13 megapixels camera on the back side along with dual LED flash and autofocus and it has 12 megapixels front facing camera for taking selfies and video calling.
The company launched two model of the YotaPhone 3, first come with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB internal storage option and another one comes with same 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB internal storage option. There is no micro SD card slot on any model.
The smartphone runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system out of the box along with YotaOS 3.0 running on top. There is a fingerprint sensor below the display and comes with USB C-Type connectivity.
It is packed with Non-removable Li-Ion 3200 mAh battery and supports Qi wireless charging feature.
The company launched the 64 GB internal storage YotaPhone 3 at 2,398 Yuan (~$360) price tag and 128 GB variant at 3,098 Yuan (~$465) price tag in Chinese and Asian markets.
The pre-order of the phone will be available from September 5 on JD.com and the sale starts from September 18th. It will be available on offline stores later.
The company also planning to launched the both the 64 GB and 128 GB YotaPhone 3 variants in the Russia market at 21,500 RUB (~$365) price tag and 27,900 RUB (~$473) respectively.
