Xiaomi Mi A1 spotted on GeekBench, comes with pure Android OS

Xiaomi, a Chinese smartphone company device spotted on GeekBench with the name of Xiaomi Mi A1. The Mi A1 has been in the news along with Xiaomi’s two other devices, lately. One is Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 and another one Xiaomi Mi Note 3. The Mi Mix 2is set to be launched on 11th September while there is no date selected yet for the Xiaomi Mi Note 3.

According to the previous report that claimed Google and Xiaomi are working together, but it’s not confirmed yet. The Xiaomi Mi A1 is supposed to be the Android One phone. According to the previous leak, the Xiaomi Mi A1 will run on the pure Android operating system out of the box. Now the GeekBench has confirmed it.

According to the GeekBench, The Mi A1 runs on Android 7.1.2 Nougat operating system. It is powered by Octa-core CPU under the hood which clocks at 2 GHz along with Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset on board. It has 4 GB of RAM. On the Geekbench single-core test, the Mi A1 scored 852 points and on the multi-core test, it scored 3837 points.

Xiaomi is holding an event on 5th September and expected to launch its Mi A1 and Mi 5X. According to the previous poster image, the company will launch the dual camera flagship smartphone. But the main point is, the Xiaomi Mi 5X and Mi A1 may not be a flagship smartphone regarding specifications.
