Oppo has launched another selfie smartphone in the Indian market, called Oppo F7. The phone comes with 25-megapixel selfies camera. There are also other notable features on the phone like, 19:9 aspect ratio, different AI capabilities of the front camera, latest Helio P60 chipset.
Oppo F7 comes with a 6.23-inch IPS super full-screen view display that offers 2280 x 1080 pixels of resolution and 19( aspect ratio. It also supports 88% screen-to-body ratio. The phone comes with a glossy glass panel on the back side. The F7 will be available in Solar Red and Moonlight Silver color options, there is another model of the Oppo’s F7, Diamond Black edition that comes with a triangular cut pattern on the back that offers premium feel.
The main highlighted feature of the phone is its selfie camera. The Oppo F7 featured with 25-megapixel Sony IMX576 camera with f/2.0 aperture on the front side for taking great selfies and video calling. The front camera of the phone offers natural looking selfies and images with higher clarity and brightness. There is an HDR feature too that allows you to click three separate images including over-exposed, normal and under-exposed and then superimpose them to generate bright and clear images.
To take a perfect selfie, the new Oppo Smart AI front camera scan more than 296 facial spots including U-zone, T-zone, neck, arms and eyes. The Ai technology saves selfie editing settings and offers you to take selfies with same settings that ware used to capture previous images. There is Vivid mode feature also that allows you to capture naturally beautiful face selfies against color production for the outfits and background. There is also AR Stickers and AI album feature supported by Oppo F7 smartphone.
The Oppo F7 Featured with a 16-megapixel camera on the back side with f/1.8 aperture, phase detection autofocus and LED flash.
The phone is powered by Octa-Core CPU on board that clocks at 2.2 GHz along with MediaTek Helio P60 chipset. The Oppo F7 has 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB internal storage, there is another variant of the phone that comes with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB internal storage. Both the model supports micro SD card up to 256 GB.
It is packed with Non-removable Li-Ion 3400 mAh battery under the body. Oppo’s F7 run on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system out of the box along with latest ColorOS 5.0 UI running on top. There is a fingerprint scanner on the back side of the phone and also supports Face unlock feature. In terms of connectivity, the phone comes with dual-SIM support, Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, 4G VoLTE, GPS micro USB 2.0 and USB OTG.
The company has launched the 4GB RAM and 64 GB ROM Oppo F7 Selfie centric smartphone in the Indian market at Rs. 21,990 (~$339) price. While the 6GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage Oppo F7 is launched at Rs. 26,990 (`$416) price tag. The 4GB RAM model will available in all three color Solar Red, Moonlight Silver and Diamond Black. While the 6GB RAM model will be available in Solar Red and Diamond Black color options.
Oppo F7 smartphone will go on sale on 2nd April exclusively via Flipkart and its offline stores.
