Instagram, the most trending social networking platform of the generation, has launched its dark mode feature for the IOS 13 and Android 10. If you are willing to experience the gesture of the dark mode theme of Instagram, then update your apple and smartphones as soon as possible.
Instagram head Adam Mosseri confirmed this news in a tweet. “Starting today, you can use Instagram in dark mode on iOS 13 or Android 10. Turn dark mode on your phone to try it out,” he wrote on Twitter.
Instagram will serve the Dark mode theme only for the mobile app. The Interface of Instagram get adorned with the gorgeous and elegant look of the screen of Instagram is waiting for the user to experience. STEPS TO PLUGGED ON DARK MODE IN iPhones
- If you haven’t updated your Instagram application, then no issue, get ready to experience the dark mode theme, go to the app store and update the Instagram app.
- In case you have already the downloaded version of IOS 13 on your iPhone, then quickly enabled the dark theme. Instagram will automatically appear in dark mode.

WhatsApp launches ‘coronavirus information hub to fight with fake news
On Wednesday WhatsApp said that it” would launch a website to help combat misinformation surrounding the ongoing coronavirus pandemic”.
This will help to overcome from coronavirus conspiracy theories and COVID-19 scams flooding the internet and also to help fight this, WhatsApp has planned to hand over $1 million to the Poynter Insitute’s International Fact-Checking Network (IFCN)
Also, a ‘WhatsApp Coronavirus Information Hub’ will see the Facebook-owned company partner with the WHO and UNICEF to provide reliable information to users, providing ‘simple, actionable guidance’ for people.
Users will be able to access the ‘messaging hotlines’ via the coronavirus information hub, available at whatsapp.com/coronavirus.
Will Cathcart, Head of WhatsApp in the statement, said “We know that our users are reaching out on WhatsApp more than ever at this time of crisis, whether it’s to friends and loved ones, doctors to patients, or teachers to students. We wanted to provide a simple resource that can help connect people at this time.
We will also continue to work directly with health ministries around the world for them to provide updates right within WhatsApp.” WhatsApp, in its information hub, has listed seven firms — out of 18 organisations listed under IFCN’s fact-checking network — to counter fake news. According to the company website, “WhatsApp helps you connect with those who matter most. Here are some of the ways you can use WhatsApp to look after friends and family, stay up to date with the latest official health information, and share information responsibly.”
The portal will also include information regarding direct messaging hotlines by WHO and UNICEF.
The social media app is stated to be working with local governments in countries like Singapore, Israel, South Africa, Brazil, and Indonesia, to send citizens message regarding coronavirus.
You can connect remotely by using WhatsApp features, like groups, voice, and video calls to stay connected and provide support to loved ones even though you might not be able to be in the same place.
You can also choose reliable sources of information as the website says, “connect with local, national, and global organizations. Turn to trusted sources, like the World Health Organization or your national health ministry, for the latest information and guidelines.”
Bill Gates Resigns from Microsoft Board
Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates has stepped down from Microsoft Board to devote his entire time in social work. He will be now engaged in the organisation which he started with his wife Melinda.
Gates served as the Microsoft Board of directors early in 2014 and has now stepped away entirely from the Microsoft work.
Microsoft on Friday announced That Bill Gates on Friday has resigned from the Board of Directors to devote his time to social work in the foundation. 64-years old has worked hard to lead Microsoft to this stage and was involved in the day to day activities in the firm.
Bill Gates served as the Chairman of Microsoft Boards till 2014 and has now resigned. Satya Nadella reported that- “It’s been a tremendous honour and privilege to work and learn with Bill over the past years”. He further added that- “Bill founded the company with the belief of monitoring software and enhancing the technology with the latest innovations and enrichment of data”. Nadella said that Bill will continue to benefit Microsoft with his guidance and advice in the field of software, and will remain as a technical supporter in Microsoft.
Bill Gates left the CEO position in 2000, handing over the company to Steve Ballmer to devote his time to the foundation. He gave up the role of chairman at the same time Satya Nadella became the third CEO of Microsoft.

March 8 : Lets celebrate International Women’s Day with Google doodle
March 8, is pinned as the World International Day, so on this big day Tech giant, Google respected ladies over the globe with its innovative doodle. The intelligent and innovative doodle celebrate ladies meeting up together from all over the world and ages with a multilayered 3D paper mandala (-circle, it’s a geographical configuration of symbols with a very different application) animation design. Julie Wilkinson and Joyanne Horscroft, the New York and London based guest illustrated today’s doodle. Marion Willam and Daphne Abderhadlen, the Zurich based guest animated the doodle.
In the video, the Mandala’s highly contrasting focal layer reflects ladies around the globe during the last 1800s to the 1930s in the midst of work developments while the subsequent layer portrays ladies from the 1950s to the 1980s, a milestone time in the women’s activist history which focused on gender equality and quick changes to business as usual.

Google Assistant will read Web pages in 42 different languages
Google is going to roll its new feature in Google assistant that from now onwards Google assistant can read the content on the screen in 42 different languages, or you can say that it can now read content in your preferred language and it will translate it via translation menu. It is named ‘Read Out Loud’. It always tries to come up with new ideas that may help its visitors significantly.
This feature was previewed away back in January at CES 2020. But now it’s becoming globally accessible to all its users.
To enable this features, users simply need to say something, like for example Good Morning, read it Google or Good Morning, read it Google and the assistant will read it out in your default language. But once you enable the feature it will read for you in your preferred language. Reading text will be highlighted on the screen by Google so that users can follow each and every word and can listen in their preferred language. If the user wants to skip to another, then just simply tap. On the screen. A person who listen news two times, this feature can also help them in listening in two different languages. They can adjust the speed accordingly.
This feature will be helpful to the users those who can’t understand English or Hindi, Google assistant will be reading for them in their preferred language. It will certainly be a good evolution for the users those who have a problem while reading from a small screen and now can listen in their preferred language. This is also the better option for the ladies in their kitchen, now they don’t need to say Next after every step, Google assistant will repeat every now and then.

Unforgettable 200 years of Sir John Tenniel, a British illustrator
February 28 is pinned as the 200th anniversary of British political cartoonist, illustrator, graphic humorist Sir John Tenniel. In his memory, google doodle also gave a tribute on his anniversary. ”Tenniel’s illustration has animated the imagination of children and adults alike for generations. His legacy continues to thrive, as readers cherish these timeless work of art to this day” google wrote this description while dedicating the doodle to him.
Sir John was born in Bayswater, West London in 1820. He was only sixteen when his first painting was exhibited. At the age of 20 he received a major eye injury and he lost the vision of his right eye.
In 1850, he began his work as a political cartoonist at the weekly magazine called Punch. Due to his near-photographic memory, he had a distinctive style. In 1864, Sir John met Carroll in Alice’s Adventure in wonderland. It was the start of his success, which continued with “Thought of the Looking Glass” in 1871. After a while, Sir John decided not to work with Carroll and returned to work with Punch as a political cartoonist.
In 1893, Sir John has acknowledged a knighthood for his contribution as a political cartoonist at Punch in addition to his illustrations in the two books by Carroll.
Google doodle has showcased his illustration wherein a girl named Alice is looking up at the Cheshire cat in a tree. Letter L of the google is made by the bent arm of Alice. The google doodle is a photograph of the drawing in Tenniel’s style.
Sir John Tenniel died on 25th February 1914, at the age of ninety-three. He died 3 days before his twenty-fourth birthday.
