Spotify is rewarding this offer to both the existing and the new premium subscribers it. Both can claim one of the smart speakers by visiting Spotify’s website while supplies last through November 15.

“At our core, Spotify Premium wants to make it easy to enjoy your favourite music anytime, anywhere. We were delighted by the response of our first Google Home Mini offer last year, which is why we’re excited to extend our partnership with Google and expand the offer to now include both Family and Individual Premium plan,” Marc Hazan, vice president of Premium Partnerships at Spotify, stated in the press material.

Premium users will receive a $49 smart speaker for free, Spotify gets to enjoy years of dominance in people’s physical households.

Google has recently unleashed its product Google Nest Mini. The speaker holds amazing features. it is a smart speaker with the Google Assistant built-in. So, whenever you need help, it’s by your side. For Google, it is also a good way for the company to clear out some inventory as it stocks up on the new hardware.

Spotify integration with the Google powerd hardware forging a great speaker. This would lead to the success of both companies. Google’s services may be more widely used with its assistant being more easily accessible, and with Spotify integration built right into the smart speaker, it could enable users easier access to the music streaming service.

Hazan notes that the partnership’s arrival “with the holidays just around the corner” is meant to help “fill your homes with music you love by simply using your voice” — but Spotify is no flower-wearing philanthropy organization, and its objective behind the new promotion is not hard to suss out.
