Samsung Galaxy Note 8 announced officially

Finally, Samsung has unveiled the new member of the Galaxy Note series after tons of leaks and rumors, called Samsung Galaxy Note 8. There are few similarities between Samsungs Galaxy S8 flagship smartphone and Galaxy Note 8 phablet. actually, it’s a mix up of the Galaxy Note 7 which launched last year and Galaxy S8 flagship smartphone.

Samsung Galaxy Note 8 comes with Infinity Display feature just like the Galaxy S8. It comes with the more sharper corners and more imposing profile, there is no physical button on the Galaxy Note 8 like Galaxy Note 7 and its bezels reduce and sides of the display are now rounded.

On the back side, there is a fingerprint sensor which placed like Galaxy S8 fingerprint. The Galaxy Note 8 is the first device that has dual sensor camera on the back side. There is volume rocker keys and dedicated Bixby button on the left side, on the bottom, there are USB C-Type connector, 3.5 mm audio jack port, a loudspeaker and S Pen tray.

The company announced the Galaxy Note 8 in four color options, Orchid Gray, Midnight Black, Maple Golde and Brand-new Deep Sea Blue. But the color of the devices is visible on sides and back. The Galaxy Note 8 comes with 6.3-inch Super AMOLED display with 1440 x 2960 pixels of resolution and 18.5:9 aspect ratio.

Samsung Galaxy Note 8 comes with the same pressure-sensitive home button on the display feature like the Galaxy S8. For access the home button, you have to push hard on the display, you can use it also when it’s hidden in an app. The Galaxy Note 8 is featured with four camera sensor, two camera sensor for the rear, one camera sensor for front and last one for iris recognition.

The Galaxy Note 8 comes with two 12-megapixels cameras on the back side, one of them comes with f/1.7 lens and another comes with telephoto, f/2.4 lens and 2x optical zoom. Both the rear camera sensors support optical stabilization. On the front side, there is an 8-megapixel camera for video calling and taking selfies along with autofocus.

The Galaxy Note 8 is powered by Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor under the hood for U.S market and the company’s own Exynos 8895 chipset with Octa-Core CPU for global. In the Galaxy Note 8, Samsung bumped the RAM up to 6GB and the internal storage option is same 64 GB. The company also announced the 128 GB internal storage and 256 GB internal storage variants.

The Galaxy Note 8 is packed with 3,300 mAh battery inside and comes with the built-in digital stylus, called the S Pen. The S Pen in the Galaxy Note 8 is same as its predecessor.  It runs on Android 7.1.1 nougat operating system out of the box

Both the carrier-specific and the unlocked versions of the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is available for pre-order from 23rd August. The Galaxy Note 8 will be available in the market from 15th September. Samsung said that the Midnight Black and Orchid Gray color variants are for the U.S market and the Maple Gold and Deep Sea Blue for the global market. However, there is no detail about the price of the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.
