Asus has recently launched its new phone Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 in India with a starting price of Rs 10,999. The phone is having a large battery life along with dual rear cameras. Both the phones are having a tall aspect ratio of 18:9 along with vertically attached rear cameras. The fingerprint scanner for both the phones is also same that is they are present in the rear part of the phone. Redmi Note 5 Pro is composed fully of aluminum whereas Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 is having a metal backplate but plastics on the top and bottom sides. Both the phones are having same dimensions and are easy in holding because of the round corners and curved edges.
- From the aspect of Camera
From the camera point of view, there is a chassis in case of the Redmi Note 5 Pro but that is not same with the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1. The Redmi Note 5 Pro is having a dual rear camera of 12MP and 5 MP and a front camera of 20MP. But the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 is having a dual camera of 13 MP and 5 MP and a front camera of 8MP. So here the Redmi is a step ahead.
- Depending on the performance of the phone
Both the phones are having octa-core processor with Snapdragon 636 processor. During intensive use, Redmi runs a bit cooler than Asus. Asus has ditched the customs with ZenUI. The phone feels snappy while using.
Now when it comes to using the most important point is the battery. The battery life of Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 is 5000 mAH and claims to last for 25 hours but after a test, it lasted for 12 hours and 2 minutes. Now when it comes to Redmi Note 5 Pro, it lasted for 16 hours and 36 minutes.
