It looks like, a Chinese smartphone manufacturer Oppo will launch a new smartphone on the market soon. Oppo F3 was launched in May of this year, the company decided to launch the successor of the phone, called Oppo F5. Recently, the phone is seen at the SM Megamall.

The promotion posters do not reveal the much information about the specifications and design. There are two color variants of the Oppo F5 smartphone, Black and Red. It will come with a single camera on the back side along with a fingerprint sensor, shaped in an oval form. In posters, there are two brand ambassadors for the phone from Filipino, Alden Richards and Sarah Geronimo.

In the marketing posters, there is slogan “Capture the real you” and a “Selfie Expert” moniker below which means The Oppo F5 will come with dual front-facing camera sensors. There is rumoured that the phone will have a 6-inch display with FHD+ 2880×1440 pixels of resolution with 18:9 aspect ratio.

You might be wondering why Oppo is launching the F5 while there is no F4 smartphone in the market. Oppo F3 is the last phone in the F series, just like this, there is no OnePlus 4. In the Chinese word, the number 4 is considered as unlucky and its pronunciation same as the Chinese word for death. But, many manufacturers don’t believe in this like Xiaomi and Huawei.

Aside the posters spotted at a shopping mall in the suburbs of the Filipino capital Manila, a yet to be opened Oppo store was also seen. The store probably coincides with the launch of the phone, because it covered in OPPO’s signature green color with an October 2017 date.
