The X is nothing but a way to denote the flagship level of the product. The HP Omen X laptop is more precisely known as the HP 17-AP047TX. It is built as more of the replacement of desktop. Design of the HP Omen X
Hp has completed a great task by constructing this laptop. The laptop is constructed by a mix of high-quality plastic and metal that gives it a sturdy look. However, there is barely any flex in the body. The aggressive stance and sharp lines make the look of a laptop more impressive. The weight of the laptop is around 5 Kg. It is having 1TB SATA hard-drive along with two 1TB PCIe NVMe M.2 SSDs in RAID 0. The main component includes the NVIDIA GTX 1080 along with 8GB GDDR5X RAM.
Other specifications include dual band WiFi 802.11ac, stereo speakers by Bang and Olufsen, Bluetooth 4.2 and a 6 cell battery. Omen Audio control is there which allows the user to tweak the sound output. There is also a recovery manager which helps you in creating backups and also keeps the software and drivers up to date including the BIOS updates. Basically, it is having the Wi8ndows 10 Home edition. HP also gives some of their own apps along with the third party trial software.
