Users will be able to book rail tickets via Jio app and can make the payment through credit card, debit card and e-wallets. Additionally, if users don’t have irctc account, the jio rail app will prompt the users to make an account and then proceed to rail ticket booking.
However this not only, in future jio will help its users to check PNR status and order food ordering via irctc. Jio rail app will release the burden on the public as the public has to stand for hours and hours waiting for a ticket, but now they will be able to book their tickets by simply sitting at home. The jio rail app is available for download on jio phones, but as of now, the company has not stated whether they will be passing this app to Android or IOS users.
