Google Pixel 4a: Specs

When phones seem to get bigger and bigger in the current day and age, the Google Pixel 4a is an exception. With a 5.81-inch 1080 x 2340 OLED screen, it has a relatively compact design. Furthermore, the display has 443 pixels per inch and sports an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. It is powered by the reasonably modest Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G octa-core chipset. Google has further equipped the phone with 6GB of RAM and 128GB worth of storage.

As for the battery, Google has added a more powerful one than before. According to the tech giant, at 3140 mAh, the phone’s battery can run for around 24 hours, depending on the usage. Moreover, the Pixel 4a boasts an 18W fast charging mode. However, Users wanting to use wireless charging will have to be disappointed, as the smartphone does not support that feature.

Google’s Pixel phones usually feature powerful cameras, and the Pixel 4a reinforces that tradition. The android smartphone comes with a single lens 12.2MP, one with an f/1.7 aperture and optical image stabilization. Meanwhile, the front camera is an 8MP one in a punch hole.

The plastic built back features a fingerprint scanner at the center. Also, the Pixel 4a uses stereo speakers for audio needs. Regarding the OS, the Android 10 version is pre-installed; however, users can upgrade it to Android 11.
