Swipe Elite 2, the cheapest 4G phone launched at Rs. 4,666

The Swipe technologies is also jumping into the bandwagon of low priced 4G phones. The company recently launched the Elite 2, a 4G smartphone priced at Rs. 4, 666. This makes it the cheapest 4G phone in country. Swipe is planning to distribute the phone via online shopping major Flipkart. The black coloured phone is going to be available for Uber customers through special sale. The sale is arranged at major cities such as Bengaluru, Delhi, Pune and Hyderabad during October 30 to November 7.

The Swipe stole the tag of cheapest 4G smartphone from Lenovo, Phicomm and ZTE.  These companies are selling 4G smartphones with price tag of Rs. 4,999. The Swipe Elite 2 will operate on TDD 2300 MHz (Band 40) and FDD 1800 MHz (Band 3).

On the specifications front, Swipe Elite 2 has latest android 5.1 lollipop along with bright 4.5 inch IPS panel with qHD (540X960 pixels) resolution. MediaTek’s 1.3GHz 4.5 inch quad-core processor runs the device with 1GB RAM. The storage can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card slot, in addition to 8GB memory on board. In camera department, 8MP auto focus sensor is located the back of device along with LED flash and 5 MP camera is present for selfies. All this hardware will be powered by 1900 mAh battery.

The standard connectivity options such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and USB are present along with 4G, 3G and EDGE support. The first Elite device went out of stock on Flipkart in no time. The company is expecting similar success with Swipe Elite 2 now with 4G upgrade.
