Qualcomm Quick Charge 4.0 only in India: Xiaomi Mi A2 is taking it to another level

Xiaomi has always been the brand of people’s choice after the release of Xiaomi Mi Note 4. It has taken the market of all smartphones by providing good quality products at a very affordable price. Recently it launched the Mi Note 5 Pro which has also been a success. Now they want to seek the attention by launching Xiaomi Mi A2 which is having Qualcomm Quick Charge 4.0. This is one of the most advantageous features of this phone.

The launch of Xiaomi Mi A2

Alongside Xiaomi Mi A2 lite, Xiaomi also launched the Xiaomi Mi A2 at an event that took place in Spain. Outside China, Xiaomi chooses India to organize their event first. Mi A2 got launched in China and it will available in India too as per the announcement at the launch event in Spain. They will be launching the new Xiaomi Mi A2 on 8th of August this year on the launching event that is taking place in Delhi on 8th August. So wait for the fastest charging phone to come to India. It will surely seek the attention of maximum smartphone uses as the battery life is one of the important features of a smartphone.

About the Qualcomm Quick Charge 4.0

The Xiaomi Mi A2 runs on Android One, and you will be surprised to know that they are offering a Qualcomm Quick Charge 4.0 to the phones in Indian variants. This Quick Charge is exclusively for the Indian market. However, it is not properly known whether it will be a software limited feature or the lack of supporting hardware in the worldwide models. The Xiaomi MI A2 runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 which is having the capability of supporting Quick Charge 4.0. If the international models support Quick Charge 3.0 then it is possible that Xiaomi enables the supporting of Qualcomm Quick Charge 4.0 with the help of third-party modifications.

In India, Xiaomi Mi A2 will be coming with a charger of 5V/2A. So the users who are interested in a quick charge of the phone they will have to buy the Quick Charge 3.0/4.0 charger on their own. There is an absence of the headphone jack of 3.5mm. Hopefully, for the Indians, there will be a preferential treatment with the Qualcomm Quick Charge 4.0 which will help them in overlooking the absence of the headphone jack.
