Finally Google Rolls Out Android Pay to Rule the Mobile Payment Market

Android Pay is designed with easy user-interface that supports fingerprint authentication and can be accessed over any NFC enabled devices that run on updated 4.4 KitKat OS or above within next week. So, users of smart phonies having fingerprint sensors can use this mobile payment system with native fingerprint support. Instead of providing credit or debit card details to the retailer, Google’s Android Pay can help users to make payment using this advanced system. The system generates a unique “Token” that can be used at selected retail stores while purchasing, thus preventing the users from sharing actual data while transactions which further reduces the risk of data theft.

According to senior VP Google, Android Pay would be the best framework for coming generation where 3^rd party developers specifically in regions like China and Africa can use the concept to develop their own mobile payment platform. Besides, the services will also comprise loyalty cards and gift cards on all devices supported by Android software.

Android Pay takes the pride for great support in the initial phase from renowned retailers like Subway, Bloomingdale’s and Macy’s and expecting many others to join the platform in coming years. By the end of 2015, the services might get extended to mobile checkouts. The system supports debit and credit cards from key payment networks including, Master Card, Visa, Wells Fargo & Co, American Express Company, Bank of America, Citigroup and other major banks will join soon.

Android Pay will be made available for easy access by existing users of Google Wallet. They merely need to update their application with Android Pay. The new users are required to download the application of Android Pay from “Play Store” when it will be made available for download. Presently, Google confirmed that services of Android Pay will just be restricted to tap-to-pay purchases at selected physical or retail stores.
