As the festive season in India approaches, many companies are looking forward to launching their products. Now, Vivo has seized the opportunity and unveiled their latest smartphone from the V series. Titled Vivo V20, the brand new handset succeeds the company’s V19 model from May this year. Furthermore, its predecessor fell under heavy criticism due to a multitude of reasons. So, with the new Android handset, Vivo has addressed all the previous issues.
Vivo V20: Release date & pricing details
Vivo has already launched the V20 for the Indian markets. However, It will be available on Flipkart starting October 20. Readers can now pre-order the phone from the e-retailer.
For now, Vivo is offering two variants of the smartphone. The 8GB+128GB version has a price tag of Rs. 24,990, while the 8GB+256GB configuration will cost Rs. 27,990. There are also three colour options- Sunset Melody, Moonlight Sonata, and Midnight Jazz.
Vivo V20: Specifications
Vivo’s brand new offering comes with a 6.44-inch display, and it uses an aspect ratio of 20:9. Furthermore, it supports Full HD+ resolution with AMOLED. At 408ppi, The V20 offers a high pixel density and has the option to play high-quality videos.
Powering the V20 is an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G SoC. Vivo has further paired it with a whopping 8GB of RAM. As mentioned before, the smartphone offers two storage variants at 128GB and 256GB. Moreover, The storage is expandable up to 1TB.
The Vivo V20 features a triple camera setup at the rear. At 64mp, the primary camera has an f/1.89 aperture. As for the secondary and third lens, they boast an 8mp multifunction lens and a 2mp monochrome lens. Regarding the selfie camera, Vivo has added a powerful 44mp camera at the front.
In regards to the power option, Vivo has included a 4000mAh battery. Plus, the phone also has a 33W fast charging feature.
The dual-sim smartphone runs on Android 11, with Vivo’s latest Funtouch OS 11 on top of it. Besides, connectivity options include- 4G LTE, Wifi, GPS, Bluetooth 5.1, and a USB Type-C port.
