Huawei Honor 7A affordable smartphone official with 18:9 screen and Oreo

Huawei Sub-brand Honor unveiled its new entry-level smartphone, Honor 7A. The phone is built in the spirit of the View 10. The phone comes with Full-screen view design, Android Oreo, dual rear cameras and more features.

Huawei Honor 7A budget range smartphone comes with a metal frame sandwich between curved plastic and metal combination rear panel. The body dimensions of the phone are 152.4 x 73 x 7.8mm and weighs 150grams. The phone is available in Magic Night Black, Platinum Gold and Aurora Blue color options.

The Honor 7A comes with 5.7-inch IPS display panel that supports 720 x 1440 pixels of resolution and offers 18:9 aspect ratio. It has 2.5D curved glass panel on the screen. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 chipset. It is available in 2 GB and 3 GB of RAM options and both models have 32 GB internal storage option along with micro SD slot on board.

The phone featured with dual rear camera sensors on, 13-megapixel main camera and 2-megapixel secondary camera. The 2 GB RAM Honor 7A variant has an only 13-megapixel camera on the back side. Huawei Honor 7A supports bokeh effect, watermark mode, aperture mode, beauty mode, smile capture and AR stickers camera modes. On the front side, it has an 8-megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture and LED flash for selfies and video calling. It also offers face unlock feature too.

Huawei’s Honor 7A is packed with  3,000mAh capacity battery inside the body. It comes with intelligent power management feature, but there is no information about the fast charging feature. The phone comes with an extra-large speaker and smart power amplifier chip to deliver the amazing audio experience. It also comes with Huawei’s own Histen 3D audio and Party Mode that offers multiple users play the same music connected by NFC.

The phone comes with 3.5mm audio jack (backed by Huawei’s Histen tech), Bluetooth 4.2, 4G VoLTE, micro USB 2.0, FM radio out of the box (something flagships don’t promise these days), Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n,  GPS and GLONASS and dual-SIM connectivity features. It runs on Android 8.0 Oreo operating system out of the box which is based on EMUI 8.0 Oreo.

The base variant of the Honor 7A with 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB internal storage is available at 799 Yuan ($130/€105) while the 3GB RAM and 32 GB storage higher model of Honor 7A is available at 999 Yuan ($160/€130). For now, this is only available in China.
