HP Chromebook X2 perfect competitor of iPad Pro

A couple of months ago, Acer launched first Chrome OS running tablet on the market, now the HP introducing Chrome OS running tablet, HP Chromebook X2 tablet which has more powerful hardware than the Acer one. The company launched it as a competitor of the iPad Pro.

The HP Chromebook X2 comes with a 12.3-inch display while the larger iPad Pro comes with the 12.9-inch display. It supports keyboard with docks and also supports stylus input. The price of the HP Chromebook X2 will be plus point, it will be available at $599 with the keyboard cover and stylus. While the smaller iPad Pro model is available at $649 without keyboard cover and stylus and the larger 12.9-inch iPad Pro available at $1067 price tag with a keyboard and pen. If you looking for a tablet that also works as a laptop or computer, HP Chromebook X2 will offer same at the cheapest price.

The Chromebook X2 is powered by Core M3-7Y30 CPU from  Intel’s prior generation of Kaby Lake chips along with 4 GB of RAM. It has 32 GB internal storage option. It features a 12.3-inch IPS display that offers 2400 x 1600 pixels of resolution and 235 PPI density. The screen of the X2 tablet is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. The tablet comes with the 13-megapixel camera on the back side and 5-megapixel camera on the front side for selfies.

It comes with stereo speakers, a headphone jack, USB-C ports and micro SD card slot on board. The battery in the tablet offers 10.5 hours of battery life in a single full charge. The Chromebook X2 featured with the metal body which AED treatment (Anodized Electrodeposition) and scratch resistant feature. The weighs of the HP Chromebook X2 1440 grams including Keyboard and 8.2 mm thick which is a little bit heavier and thicker than the iPad Pro.

The HP’s Chromebook X2 has a high-quality magnetic dock that designed to hold firmly enough to the tablet. When the Chromebook X2 connected with a detachable keyboard, it looks like a clamshell laptop. According to the images, the tablet comes with metal and glossy white top just like the Google’s Pixelbook and soft and colorful keyboard like the Microsoft’s Surface Laptop.

The company is expected to launch Chromebook X2 in the U.S in June and also offers 100 GB storage on Google Drive for two years.
