Jiomart was downloaded 10 lakh times; top position in Google and Apple app stores

Reliance Jio’s grocery store platform Jio Mart became the first choice of customers in the country’s online grocery segment within two months of launching. The company launched the Jiomart app on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store a few days ago and in a few days, the Jiomart app has been downloaded more than 1 million times from the Google Play store.

It has reached the second position in the Indian app store in the Indian rankings and third on the Google Play store.

Daily 2.5 lakh orders are being booked here

2.5 lakh orders are being booked daily on Jiomart. This number of orders is the highest in the online grocery segment. The number of orders is also increasing steadily. Customers using the Sodexo coupon are able to pay using it at Jiomart.

The old account will remain the same

Prior to the Jiomart app, the company used to book orders on its website. Even after the arrival of the app, the old account of the customers will remain the same. The company has made some arrangements in which the customer will be able to log on to almost all the platforms like website, Android, and Apple ios using their login account. That is, the items ordered on the website will be available on the customer’s Android mobile phone and on the website ordered from the mobile phone.

Jiomart has facilities in 200 cities

In the last week of May this year, Jiomart started with 200 cities. For the first time, customers in 90 cities were involved with online shopping of groceries. With its launch, Jiomart is ready to compete with rivals. Most of the things available on Jiomart are 5% cheaper than other similar platforms. The prices of branded goods have also been kept somewhat lower.

According to a report, Reliance’s partnership with Facebook could result in the company becoming the market leader in the online grocery space. The company is expected to have a 50 percent market share by 2024.
