Looks like OnePlus has decided to solve one of the biggest hurdles of online shopping in India. For many customers, waiting for a day or two to get the product is big no. People are still buying products in traditional way due to its instant delivery. In a surprising move, OnePlus is offering its original flagship phone within 60 minutes or free at Bengaluru. Company has promised that customers will get product for free if the delivery is late. This is definitely a game changer in India where users have to wait for at least for 24 hours to get the product delivered.
When it comes to phones like OnePlus One, users also have to wait for invite and specific time frame to order the product. The company is trying to change this image by promising delivery of phone at doorstep in less than an hour. The promotional event will be on for October 8, 9 and 10. Bengaluru based Intra-city logistical major, Blowhorn is helping OnePlus to get products delivered at lightning speed. The 60 minute time frame will begin once the order is accepted by delivery arm.
The Blowhorn mobile app from Google Play Store will enable customers to place their orders. On being asked about expansion of the project, the company officials said that this pilot scheme in Bengaluru is expected to run in other metros soon.
General Manager Vikas Agarwal from OnePlus India informed that the company wanted to pleasantly surprise their fans by delivering phone in same time as they get their pizza.
