Flipkart officials have acknowledged that online selling of product is new for many sellers but with proper guidance businesses will be able to handle peak demands efficiently. In order to make operations faster, sellers have been trained in inventory management this year. Skillventory, a talent firm has tied up with Flipkart to train sellers in Kolkata, Delhi, Bangalore, Surat and Mumbai. These five cities attract maximum orders on the website.

Under Flipkart Seller Campus programme, each vendor receives four-hour training on inventory management during high demand.
