Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro comes with 15.6-inch Screen & 8th Gen. Core i7

Xiaomi has announced its new 15.6-inch laptop at the Mi MIX 2 launch event in Beijing a few days ago, called Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro. It comes with the similar design, two USB-C port, two USB-A port, SD card slot and HDMI port. It comes with high-end specifications under the hood at an affordable price.

Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro comes with the strong body than before. It has a same minimalistic design, the size is the Mi Notebook Pro is not thinner than the MacBook Pro, Xiaomi’s pictures make it seem next to the MacBook Pro. The Mi Notebook Pro comes with magnesium alloy frame which increases the strength of the laptop. One of the most interesting things in the laptop is the trackpad, which is working similarly and much better than the Apple’s Force Touch designs. It has fingerprint sensors on the trackpad at top-right and full-size keyboard.

The Mi Notebook Pro laptop will be available in the market in only in one color option, Dark Gray, which looks good. The laptop is much heavy and not light weight, it weighs 1.9Kgs. It comes with few upgrades over the previous model, it has expanded fans, a special cooling system featuring larger heat pipes and sinks which controlled the Mi Notebook temperature all time.

The company announced the three models of the Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro laptop, one is powered by 8th Gen Core i7 under the hood which clocks at 4.0 GHz along with 16 GB of RAM on board. The second model comes with Core i7 processor on board along with 8 GB of RAM and the last comes with 8 GB of RAM and powered by Core i5 processor. The company used the DDR4 dual Channel RAM on all models. It also comes with 256GB PCIe SSD and featured with a NVIDIA GeForce MX150 graphics card as well.

The laptop comes with a 15.6-inch display which is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The XIaomi Mi Notebook Pro laptop 16 GB of RAM model will be available at 6999 Yuan ($1076) price tag. While the 8 GB of RAM and Core i7 processor model will be available at 6399 Yuan ($984) price tag and Core i5 and 8 GB model is 5599 Yuan ($860) price tag.
