Xiaomi Mi Note 3 launched with Snapdragon 660 and Dual Cameras

Xiaomi has launched its another member of the Mi Note series, called Xiaomi Mi Note 3. The company unveiled the three devices at the launching event a few days ago, Xiaomi Mi Note 3, Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 and Xiaomi Mi Notebook laptop. The Mi Note 3 comes with the different design than the previous dual curved display design model. At first glance, the phone looks like the bigger model of the Xiaomi Mi 6, so called Xiaomi Mi 6 Plus.

Xiaomi Mi Note 3 features a glass back panel and matte texture aluminium frame. It has curved sides on the back. It looks like the Xiaomi Mi 6 smartphone, it comes with the same camera front and rear camera placement, physical home button and same blue color as well.

The MI Note 3 comes with 5.5-inch IPS display with 1080 x 1920 pixels of resolution. It supports 73.8% screen-to-body ratio and 401 PPI density. It is powered by Dual Quad-core CPU on board along with Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset. The first four cores clocks at 2.2 GHz Kryo 260 and another four cores clocks at 1.8 GHz Kryo 260. It features a 6 GB of RAM and available in 64 GB and 128 GB internal storage option. Unfortunately, there is no micro SD card support.

Xiaomi’s Mi Note 3 is featured with the dual 12-megapixel cameras on the back side. The first camera comes with 27mm lens, f/1.8 aperture and OIS 4-axis while the another 12-megapixel camera comes with 52mm lens and f/2.6 aperture. The rear camera of the phone comes with  2x optical zoom, phase detection autofocus and dual-LED Flash. At the announcement event, the company said that it comes with the improved camera lens and better bokeh tracking feature. It has a 16-megapixel camera on the front side for selfies along with 2.0 µm pixel size.

The Mi Note 3 is packed with Non-removable Li-Ion 3500 mAh battery which able to deliver long day battery back up. It comes with Quick Charge 3.0 as well. It has an under glass fingerprint sensor on the front panel and other features, such as stereo speakers, NFC, USB Type-C, IR port, improved face unlock and AI beautify algorithm.

The Xiaomi Mi Note 3 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB internal storage model at 2499 Yuan (~$384) price tag. The Mi Note 3 is 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB storage black color model available at 2899 ($445) price tag while the Blue color Mi Note 3 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB internal storage model is 2999 ($460) price tag.
