Sony all set to launch Xperia XZ1 on September 25th in India

Sony, a Japanese smartphone manufacturer, has announced its latest flagship smartphone at IFA 2017 event in Berlin last month, called Sony Xperia XZ1. The company has sent out press invites for the launch event in India for Xperia XZ1 on September 25th, the launch event will be happening in Delhi. The company will announce the price and availability of the Xperia XZ1 flagship smartphone.

In the U.S market, The Xperia XZ1 is priced at $699.99 (approximately Rs. 44,960) and we can expect the similar price in the Indian market. At IFA 2017, Sony said that the Xperia XZ1 flagship smartphone would run on new Android 8.0 Oreo operating system out of the box.

Sony Xperia XZ1 comes with 5.2-inch powered by Sony’s Triluminous display and X-Reality technology with 1080 x 1920 pixels of resolution. The screen of the phone is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on top. It is powered by a 64-bit Octa-core CPU under the hood with Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset along with Adreno 540 GPU for better graphics performance.

Sony’s latest flagship comes with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB internal storage option along with micro SD card support up to 256 GB. It is featured with single 19-megapixel Exmor RS sensor camera on the back side with 3D scanning abilities. The rear camera of the phone has f/2.0 aperture, 25mm, EIS (gyro), predictive phase detection and laser autofocus, LED flash and 5-axis stabilization. It can shoot videos at 4K and also slow-motion video recording at 960fps.It comes with the 13-megapixel camera on the front side with f/2.0 aperture and 22mm wide-angle lens for selfies and video calling.

The Xperia XZ1 could come with single SIM and Dual SIM connectivity models. There is a fingerprint sensor on the right side embedded on the power button. It is packed with 2,700 mAh battery inside the body and comes with Quick Charge 3.0 feature. The device has IP68 certificate water and dust resistant. The body dimensions of the phone are 148x73x7.4mm and weighs 156 grams.

The Xperia XZ1 comes 4G LTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, USB OTG, USB Type-C, and GPS among other features. It also has Hi-Res Audio, digital noise cancellation, S-Force surrounds sound, stereo recording, and Qualcomm’s aptX audio software.
