Samsung already started working on Android Oreo firmware update for its Galaxy devices and a lot of Samsung Galaxy devices already get the Android Oreo update. Earlier this month, there was a report that suggested that the Samsung is working Android 8.0 Oreo update for its high-end Galaxy Tab S3. Now we have evidence that confirms the Android 8.0 Oreo update for Galaxy Tab S3 report.
Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S3 high-end slate spotted on Wi-Fi Alliance, the Galaxy Tab S3 is running on Android 8.0 Oreo operating system. Which means Samsung is close to rolling out the Android Oreo update for the Galaxy TAB S3.
The Galaxy Tab S3 users might have to wait longer than normal to get the Android 8.0 Oreo update. The slate is part of the second wave of that are expected to get Android Oreo Firmware update along with Samsung Galaxy S7, Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge and Galaxy A7.
The South Korean giant already rolled out the Android 8.0 Oreo OS update for the Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8+ and Galaxy Note 8. But it will take some time to get Android Oreo update for all compatible devices.
There is no information about the third wave of Samsung devices which will get Android 8.0 Oreo update. Last year, Samsung launched quite a few devices that may be eligible for Android 8.0 Oreo update. We can expect that the Samsung will roll out the Android Oreo update for more devices at some point in 2018.
