Microsoft introduces Email in 15 other Languages

Technology hub MICROSOFT introduces Email facility in 15 different languages. They have taken a fine initiative to its users. Users from now, don’t need to bound themselves in using these services. Now the email services will be available in 15 languages, that will help to engage more and more users towards it. The people will be able to use the local language email address for outlook accounts. Users will not be able to send or receive emails in different languages via outlook accounts from their PCs and outlook.com and outlook app for Android and IOS. This new advanced service will also be available for office 365, exchange online, exchange online protection.

This addition of new feature is a part of Microsoft’s Email address Internationalisation(EAI), which will now be accessible in Dogri, Konkani, Maithili, Hindi, Marathi, Nepali, Sindhi, Bengali, Gujarati, Punjabi, Manipuri, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu, Bodo. Microsoft has taken this great initiative to the people those who don’t know English. From now, they will also be able to use technology and can learn from it.

 

Meetul Patel, COO-MICROSOFT INDIA SAID – “Ensuring that language is not a barrier to the adaptation to the technology is the key for digital growth and inclusion. Making email address accessible in 15 different languages is a profitable step towards skilled India project. We are making technology use the language of people, and not requiring people to learn first the prescribed language of technology”.

 

The new languages that support email are designed from the unicorn, an international encoding standard. Microsoft appreciated the Internet Corporation of Assigned Names and numbers efforts in making the Internet more connected to everyone.

To break this division, Microsoft started working with Indian languages from the last two decades ago and launched ‘Project Bhasha’ in 1988 to accelerate the computing in Indian languages. They said that “working closely with the ministry of information and technology, we supported a government initiative to increase their skilled India project and make more and more people access to the network.

Microsoft is working keenly towards these projects so that they may get connected to different linguistic language people and trying to educate them about the technology.
