Gionee S11 appears on TENAA with a 6-inch 18:9 FullVision AMOLED display

Recently, Gionee has launched its M7 and M7 Power smartphones to the market and both come with 18:9 aspect ratio display. Now, the another smartphone from the company appeared on the Chinese certification authority’s website TENAA dubbed as Gionee S11 with 18:9 aspect ratio display. Which means another midrange device with 18:9 aspect ratio is on the way.

Gionee has launched its three smartphones in last year, Gionee S10, S10B and S10C and we are expecting more than one variant of the Gionee S11 smartphone. According to the TENAA, the Gionee S11 comes with 6.01-inch AMOLED with 1080 x 2016 pixels of resolution just like the Gionee’s M7.

The S11 is powered by Octa-core CPU which clocks at 2.5GHz under the hood, along with 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB internal storage option. Gionee S11 is also featured with 4 camera sensors just like its predecessor, Gionee S10. It has 16-megapixel and 8-megapixel cameras on the back side while on the front side, it has 20-megapixel and 8-megapixel cameras.

The S11 is packed with 3600mAh battery inside the body and runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system out of the box. The body dimensions of the phone are 155.8 x 72.6 x 6.95mm and weighs 178 grams. It has a fingerprint sensor on the back side.

Recently, the Gionee S11 moniker spotted on the GFXBench and revealed that the phone has 6-inch AMOLED display with 1080 x 2160 pixel of resolution. It comes with the 16-megapixel camera on the back side. But the other specifications of the phone are different. It is powered by Quad-core MediaTek MT6763 processor under the hood along with 4 GB of RAM. On the front side, it has an only 4-megapixel camera. It might be the another variant of the Gionee S11 just like the Gionee S10 have two other variants.
