Ind vs Aus : India 233/6 till stumps

The day 1 game between India and Australia came to an end. The first test match of four matches series’ is being played at Adelaide cricket ground. Indian test team lost its batting order in the early hours of the day. Indian team stands at 233 runs at a loss of 6 wickets against the host team.

India’s first wicket fell in the form of Prithvi Shaw. Mitchell Starc bowled him out after 2 duck balls. Mayank Agarwal took two boundaries before getting bowled out by Pat Cummins, leaving India at a score of 32. Kohli and Pujara tried to collect some scores much before Pujara’s wicket was lost at a score of 100 while Kohli was run out at the score of 188.

Rahane and Vihari too cannot stand by the strong defense from Aussies. W. Saha and R. Ashwin were left at stumps till the game for the day ended. India, losing its main batsmen in the first-day game itself, is a matter of concern. Defending the Australian batting order would be a tough part for Indian bowlers. 

From the Australian bowling squad, Mitchell Starc took 2 wickets giving a total of 49 runs and 4 maidens. Hazelwood took 1 wicket giving 47 runs. Cummins, although took 1 wicket, managed to save 7 maidens for the team. Lyon took 1 wicket. On the Indian side, Mohammad Shami, Jaspreet Bumrah, and Umesh Yadav are still left to bat.
