Pro Kabaddi League 2019: Bengal Warriors defeats Dabang Delhi; Lifts their maiden title

A superb performance from Bengal Warriors helped them clinch their maiden Pro Kabaddi League title in the final match against Dabang Delhi. The match took place at the EKA Arena by TransStadia in Ahmedabad where the franchise of Bengal smashed Delhi by a scoreline of 39-34.

This win was even more special for Warriors as they were missing from the services of their regular skipper Maninder Singh who is also their star raider. Stand-in captain Mohammad Nabibakhsh took the charge of the side and lead from the front to prevent Delhi from winning their first PKL title.

The pressure of finale was always on Bengal as they were 0-6 down in the earlier few minutes of the match. Nabibakhsh helped his team fight and changed the destiny in the favour of his team as the teams were levelled with 17-17 at half-time. Warriors took the game to their side of the court immediately in the second half to lift the trophy.
