Gareth Bale, Giorgio Chiellini – Which European-Based Stars Could Make the Switch to the MLS This Summer?

The MLS is showing huge promise as of late, and it is no secret that it has led astray many notorious players. Well, if the rumours are true, the next bunch of potential transfers are going to make one hell of a bang within the industry.

Let’s dive straight into it and talk about a few European-based stars that we may see make the switch to MLS in the coming months. It’s going to be a good one.

Merih Demiral

Out of all the players that we may see move on over to the MLS, Merih Demiral is perhaps the most likely candidate of the bunch. Rumours about his potential transfer have been circulating the web for months now, and it seems as though the incentives that MLS are able to offer are far too enticing to ignore.

Whilst it may not be a sure-fire thing to see Meriah move to the MLS, it certainly would come as no shock. In fact, it would perhaps be even more surprising if he doesn’t end up moving over when you factor in the various benefits he would get from going.

Jadon Sancho

To the dislike of many, Jadon Sancho is yet another well known English player that has been rumoured to be moving over to the MLS in the near future. When it comes to the question of why English players switch to MLS, there are a plethora of variables at hand.

However, one of the most prominent reasons for this mass switch-over is simply due to the amount of revenue that the MLS is able to promise. The numbers that the MLS has been offering to potential players are staggering, and it truly is hard to pass an opportunity up when said decision could set you up for the rest of your life.

If this transfer was to come to fruition, there is no doubt it would have an astronomical impact on football as a whole. This is even more the case with a player like Jadon who is known to increase the odds on any online sportsbook in Arizona (or any other sportsbook of your choice) for his team, and it would be an understatement to say he will probably be sorely missed.

Gareth Bale

Bale moving to MLS is something that has been on the table for a while now, and if this were to happen, the sports industry as a whole would be shaken.

Such a massive player switching over to the MLS would truly change the direction of football forever, and it is likely that a myriad of other players would follow suit if Bale did decide to make the change.

So, did any of the players we listed come as a shock to you? If so, you wouldn’t be alone. The MLS is sucking up so much talent at the moment – it begins to beg the question of whether or not there will be anyone left.

Either way, it is going to be interesting to see how things play out and to see if the three players we mentioned do end up going to the MLS. Only time will tell. Have fun.
