Ronaldo does deserve some credits for his interview after Portugal lost to Uruguay

The two greatest of all times (GOAT)  have eventually knocked out of the World Cup in a single day. Yes, we are talking about Andres Lionel Messi and Christiano Ronaldo.

The World Cup 2018 might be their last big completion for their own National teams and the fan are literally devastated.

Just within a few hours after Argentina lost to France with a scoreline of 4-3, Ronaldo’s Portugal was also blown by a mighty Uruguay with 2-1 in the scoreboard and was sent off to the airport

By the time the next FIFA World Cup is going to take place in Qatar, he will turn 37; though one cannot be so precisely what he will not be available for the same.

However, we can technically say this was Ronaldo’s last chance to bring the World Cup for Portugal. Well not only he, the whole team was devastated as they were knocked out of the pre-quarter-finals.

The frustrations were clearly seen as in the very last moment of the match, he was booked with a yellow card when he argued for a decision against Portugal.

As the post-match interview started, fans were expecting him to be furious as the last time when Madrid lost to Liverpool in the Finals of UEFA Champions League.

Last time when Liverpool won the finals 3-1 against Real Madrid, Ronaldo was furious in the post-match interview and reportedly said that he will not play for the club anymore after the session ends. Well, it was an unnecessary controversy created by him and was criticised after the event.

However, this time around the Portuguese superstar was classy enough to show some real sportsmanship.

In between the game, Ronaldo helped Cavani to leave the pitch with pure spirit as Cavani was injured with a calf injury and Cavani is the one who scored both the goals for Uruguay.

Post- Match Interview of Ronaldo:

He congratulated Uruguay for the game and thanked FIFA and Russia for hosting a perfect World Cup for his team.

“We must congratulate Uruguay because they are the national team that are in the quarter-finals,” said the Portuguese winger.

He then added “we will leave Russia with our head held high and as a captain of the National team, I am sure the young team is going to come back stronger”

Ronaldo’s answer when he was asked about the career ahead:

“I am no one to decide the future as far as the management and coaches are there” replied the GOAT.

Now we all can say this is how a true sportsman should behave even after crashing out of the tournament.
